OVER 70s NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS & CARNIVALS

Graduating from the Over 60s, Tasmania fielded its first Over 70s team in 2015 at Hobart, and the inaugural National Championships for the age group were in Adelaide in 2017. While our lack of numbers makes it hard to be really competitive against the larger states, our better players perform consistently well, and stalwarts Trevor Stephens, Ken Last and Roger Edmunds have all earned national selection. in 2023 Kel Anderson and Rod Headlam toured the UK with the Australian team.
